TS3 is one of the most versatile laser engraving machine that supports laser etching, laser engraving and cutting for multiple materials. Yes, TS3 can engrave or cut (≤5mm) Perspex sheets, but this is conditional. You need to color the surface of the acrylic board first, or the laser will pass directly through the transparent object without leaving any mark.
It depends on the material of their cases. If they are made by alumina, plating or stainless steel, the answer is definitely “Yes”, TS3 can engrave on iPhones, power bank, computers and other electronic products without sheets or stickers.
We have tried to engrave the PLA plastic sheets and found it failed. But we cut it successfully. As for resin, we haven’t test it yet.
Exactly, you can engrave on stainless steel without any surface treatment.
Exactly, as the metals we have tested, TS3 can engrave the alumina and stainless steel without surface treatment.
TS3 can engrave and cut the non-transparent and non-light-colored acrylic sheets. And TS3 is able to cut about 5mm acrylic in one pass.
The depth of engraving on the glass will be actually not visible to the naked eye. You can only feel the roughness on the glass surface. By the way, when you engrave the glass, you need stickers or coloring its surface.
Frankly, according to our tests, TS3 can engrave alumina, plating and stainless steel. But one thing is clear that TS3 is unable to cut any metal.
Sorry, TS3 can't engrave thin brass sheet.
Theoretically, TS3 can cut food grade safe plastic sheets but we don’t suggest using them to contact the food directly to avoid unknown risk.
Of course, we have the “4th axis”——the rotating module to engrave on curving objects like wine glasses or bamboo tubes.
Sorry, TS3 only can engrave on the cork panels.
Frankly, TS3 is able to cut through 8mm plywood in one pass. However, if you want to cut a thicker object, it may not advisable to do repeated operations because the cutting result could be unsatisfactory.
